Cookie policy

This policy explains how Accommodation365 uses cookies and similar website technologies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files or similar pieces of data that websites can store on a device. They can be used for functions such as security, remembering settings, keeping a user signed in, measuring website use or supporting advertising.

Some technologies are strictly necessary for a service to work. Others, particularly analytics and advertising technologies, may require consent before they are used.

2. What Accommodation365 currently uses

At the date of this policy, we do not currently run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, behavioural advertising or other optional tracking on the public Accommodation365 website.

The website and its hosting, security and database infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical storage or security mechanisms needed to deliver pages, prevent abuse, process forms or protect administrative areas. The private administration area also uses authentication technology so authorised users can remain signed in.

We also use browser local storage to remember the cookie preference you choose. This stores whether analytics has been accepted or rejected, together with a consent version and timestamp, so we do not need to ask you on every visit.

3. Essential technology

Strictly necessary technology does not require consent where it is genuinely needed to provide a service requested by the user or to protect the operation of the website. We limit this technology to functions such as security, form handling and authenticated administration.

Blocking essential browser storage may prevent parts of the website or private administration area from working correctly.

4. Analytics and marketing

Our cookie controls are already configured so optional analytics is off by default. If we introduce Google Analytics or another analytics service, it will only load for visitors who have explicitly accepted analytics through the cookie controls, unless we later rely on a specific lawful exception and update this policy accordingly.

You can reject analytics without affecting the essential operation of the website, and you can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer.

We do not currently use advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. An accommodation enquiry is never treated as consent to marketing cookies or email marketing.

5. Managing cookies

You can manage your optional analytics choice through the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Essential technology cannot be switched off through our settings where it is genuinely required for the website, security, forms or administration to work.

You can also use your browser settings to view, block or delete cookies and other stored website data. The exact controls depend on the browser and device you use. Deleting site data may remove your saved cookie preference, in which case we will ask you to choose again.

Blocking all browser storage may affect functionality, particularly sign-in or security features.

6. Contact and updates

Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to hello@accommodation365.co.uk.

We may update this policy if we add new website technology, analytics or other services. The latest version will always be published here.
